Lightboard is a specialized recording room with a transparent panel that allows instructors to face their audience (the camera) while writing content on the screen. Using Lightboard: Shining a Light on Your Content with These Tips
- Plan ahead
- Prepare your presentation
- Book the room
- Plan clothes that won't distract, green or black sweaters won't do much good if they are the same color as the screen you choose!
- Take a practice pause
- In the Lightboard Room, do a trial run with recording to Kaltura. Is everything appearing the way you planned?
- Pause regularly to leave space for editing
- When in doubt, call us out!
